What problems can arise for a foreign national when buying a house?

Normally, there is not a problem as long as the buyer does not have a criminal record.


Do you arrange inspection visits ?

Yes, we can also help you with your travel arrangements and accommodation. Once you have purchased your property through Dovec Construction, all travel expenses will be refunded. A maximum of £ 500.


Can we ask for specific additional materials or changes?

All work performed on your property can be tailored made to your specifications.


Will the sea views be obscured by later construction?

The sea views will never be obscured by future constructions.Thanks to the location and design of the buildings.


What is the name of the nearest airport and how far away is  it?

The name of the nearest Airport is Ercan Airport, which is 46 km away from our main office.


How can we get to Northern Cyprus?

For the time being, there are no direct flights to the TRNC. All flights stop in Turkey for 45 minutes. It is not necessary to change planes. You can fly from all the major UK airports.


How long can a British Citizen stay in Northern Cyprus?

Most European Union citizens get an automatic three-month visa. If you wish to stay all year round, an annual permit will be issued.


What is meant by 'reserved' against some of your properties? Has a deposit been paid, or just an expression of interest?

If some customers are indecisive, or need more time due to financial reasons, the property could be reserved for a period of six months, by placing a £1000-reservation fee.


Who will look after my property whilst I am away?

Dovec Construction have a quality Property Management team who will assist you.


Can Dovec Construction design and build properties to my specifications?

Yes, our in-house architects are happy to assist you.


What is the cost of living in north Cyprus?

The cost of living in Northern Cyprus is at a fraction of the price, compared to other Mediterranean hotspots. I.e. Greece, France and Spain.


Can Dovec Construction rent my property to Holiday Makers whilstI am abroad so that an income could be generated.
